ABOUT TQR

Elliott Smith meets Janis Ian; darkness meets light; simplicity meets complexity; sci-fi / fantasy inspired lyrics meet melancholic bitter-sweet melodies.

TQR (short for ‘The Quiet Revolution’) is the brainchild of yours truly: Tal More, a 31 year-old Israeli songwriter. It features talented singer/songwriters singing songs I wrote & composed; songs that hopefully embody music’s holy trinity: original lyrics, strong melody & sincere delivery. The essence of TQR is focusing on these three elements by keeping the production simple. It’s a path I believe the music industry should take in order to produce more ‘music’ and less ‘industry’ and one I take myself because of this belief.

TQR’s music is currently available in digital format only. 5 songs have been released so far, alongside numerous bonus tracks. You can download individual singles or the ‘Paper Says’ compilation that includes all the songs released so far in TQR’s store.
